Τριαντάφυλλος Σταυρακίδης

OF COUNSEL

Profile

Triantafyllos is an of counsel attorney of the Firm and has been a partner in the past. He is admitted to practice before the Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Greece.

His focus is mainly on maritime law, transportation law, commercial law, industrial property law, international private law and arbitration.

Triantafyllos studied law at the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace and holds two LL.M. Degrees in maritime and transportation law from the University of Aix-Marseille III – Center of Maritime Law and Transports (“Bien-Major de la promotion” – High Honors, Graduated first in the LL.M. Class) – France. He equally holds an LL.M. Degree in commercial law from the Law School of the University of Athens (Graduated first in the LL.M Class). He is a PhD holder in the field of maritime law for the elaboration of doctoral dissertation under the title “Collision at sea”, Law School of the University of Athens.

His publications include: 

  • “Defective resolutions of the Board of Directors of a Société Anonyme” (Nomiki Vivliothiki, 2020) 
  • Collisions at Sea (Nomiki Vivliothiki, 2020) 
  • Triantafyllos is the author of several published articles and case comments on Greek corporate, maritime and transportation law, published in Greek law journals.

He speaks English and French fluently and has a fair knowledge of German.

Chara Chatzipachouli is an associate of the Firm at the Piraeus office since 2022, admitted to practice before the Courts of First Instance of Greece.

Her professional focus is mainly on shipping law, transport law in general, civil and commercial law.

Chara Chatzipachouli studied law at the Law School of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and holds an LL.M. Degree in maritime law from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

Her master thesis is on the topic “Punctual payment of hire in time charter: Legal nature and consequences of its violation”.

She speaks English fluently.

Konstantinos Kornilakis is an associate of the Firm at the Thessaloniki office, admitted to practice before the Courts of First Instance of Greece.

His professional focus is mainly on shipping law, transport law, commercial, corporate law and civil law.

Konstantinos graduated from the department of Political Sciences of the Faculty of Law, Economic and Political Sciences of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki in 2014.

Following his graduation, he studied Law at the School of Law of the European University of Cyprus and graduated in 2018 (LL.B.). He is a member of the Bar Association of Thessaloniki since 2019.

He speaks English fluently.

Theodore studied law at the Law School of the Democritus University of Thrace (LL.B.) and holds an LL.M. Degree in maritime law from the Law School of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.

His master thesis titled “Legal issues arising out of containerization” received an excellent grade.

George is a partner at the Thessaloniki office, admitted to practice before the Courts of Appeal of Greece.

His focus is mainly on commercial law, shipping law, civil law, bankruptcy – insolvency law, criminal law, administrative law, environmental law, banking law, property law.

George has successfully acted for and advises:

George is the founder and the managing partner of the Firm, admitted to practice before the Courts of Appeal and the Supreme Court of Greece.

His focus is mainly on shipping law, transportation & logistics law, commercial law, company law, labour law, insurance law, administrative law and arbitration. He has established a reputation in litigation and legal counselling in his work. George has been involved in many investment and/or new projects in transport & logistics in Greece and has also participated in legislative committees of shipping and transport bodies with the respective Ministries for major issues. He represents industrial and commercial companies in litigation and negotiations.

George advises and has successfully acted for:
